Who's On Your Team?

We must be honest... Mixed in with the gratitude that we reach for daily have been some difficult days. For real. No one is exempt from the difficulties of life, whether they exist at work, in relationships, financially, or some other area. At times like this, it’s important to be reminded of who’s on your team.

You know that old saying, “It takes a village…”?? Well, it’s usually uttered in terms of raising kids. But listen! This season is reminding us that it takes a village to not only raise kids, but also to stay positive, survive quarantine, keep our marriage strong, stay healthy… can you relate? We’ve tapped into our team a lot lately. That includes our family, marriage small group, therapist, and mentors. So we wanted to remind you this month of the importance of seeking support when you need it.

For some that may mean calling a trusted friend to vent, or a mentor for some advice. For others it may mean finding a therapist to get some solid tools and strategies to navigate the stress in your life and/or relationships. For some, it may even mean reaching out to a family member to explore safe options of getting child care support. Trust us, one of the most important lessons we’ve learned over the years is how to ask for help!
